Happy New Year!
On
behalf of the Marianites of Holy Cross and our staff, I want to wish each of
you New Year greetings from Prompt Succor Nursing Home and C’est la Vie
Apartments! We are celebrating and praising God as we enjoy all the changes
that occurred in the end of 2009 with the completion of our newest addition.
As our residents and staff have settled into the new facilities, we are most
grateful for all God’s many blessings that greet us as we begin 2010!
For each of us the New Year is a wake up call to LIVE in gratitude for the past and in hope for the future. It is a moment to choose to live life fuller rather than faster; to pause and share a hug; to stop and look at the flowers; to care for the environment; to pay attention to the needs of others; to appreciate the simplest of things in life too often taken for granted. We don’t know what the year will bring - some joy, some sadness, some loss, some new life - we only know for certain that God was with us last year and is already going before us into the days ahead.
May peace and joy fill your hearts!
